I give back to my community a lot. I am a soldier in the Salvation Army. I am my corps Community Outreach Coordinator. I do the corps nursing home (institutional) ,ministry and I am the corps adult Sunday school teacher. I will be working part time starting in November as a a peer support specialist for my Corp's Pathways of Hope program though that is a paid position. Pathways of Hope is a program aimed at breaking generational poverty by assisting with career training and other programs. I will be doing case management and counseling there.
As ii stands right now I am pretty involved in the Salvation Army. I volunteer about 20 hours per week there.

I not only agree with that statement, but use that quote quite often myself. It is possible to disagree without becoming obnoxious. This is what she is saying. You don't need to be angry and hurtful to disagree,
