This is talking about the 1,000 year reign of Christ at the end of days. Explain the first resurrection and the second death. Eschatology or prophecies about the end times is not my strong point. I know there are at least three schools of thought, all of which can make logical arguments based on scripture. There is the premillennialist school which believes we are going to be raptured out of here and then return with Jesus to establish a 1,000 year kingdom. There is the post-millennial group who believes we will all be here for the tribulation and then taken to heaven when Jesus comes. There is the a-millennial group who believes the book of Revelation was a prophecy of the siege of Jerusalem under General Titus in AD 76. This group believes Revelation has all been fulfilled except for the last few chapters. My personal belief is that I don't have a belief. I know Jesus is coming soon and what happens between now and His return doesn't matter. If there is a tribulation He will get me through it. I just know He will return. I don't know what will happen between then and now. I do believe that like the first advent, the second coming will be nothing like we expect.
