Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| Had a very romantic afternoon with the fiancé yesterday. We had pizza for lunch. Today, I just relaxed and watched television. |
| My sister gave me $30 to buy towels today. I came across a three for one deal. Three beach towels for $10. Not bad. |
| I watched soccer again today. Nothing much going on. I just staying home and relaxing. I'm watching Overdrive now. |
| I was going to go to the bank today to see about my debit card. Unfortunately, there was rain in the forecast. I'll go tomorrow. |
| Earlier today, I went out for lunch with my fiancé. We went to Harvy's I had a hamburger and frings, (that's onion rings and french fries in one box). I then came home and watched soccer online. Also, both of my favourite NFL teams, (Green Bay and Buffalo), won today. Both teams are 3-0. |
| Earlier today, I went to the Acton Fall Fair. It was fun. I bought another shirt. I saw a few friends at the fair. The weather was nice, but hot. Thankfully, I chose to wear shorts. |
| Well, guess where I'm going on October 2. I'm going to Niagara Falls. My fiancé told me he's taking me last night on the phone. I got another surprise today. A lady from my church gave me a free pass for the Acton Fall Fair this weekend. I can use it. It cost $9 to get in and I only have $20 in cash. I can now used the $20 for food tomorrow. I phoned the lady and thanked her. |
