I just spent about two hours studying the style guide for the TranscribeMe exam. Man is it extensive! I plan to study every day for at least two hours a day for a month. I’m on page 24 out of 39 pages. My study also requires looking at the instruction document.
I got an email from this woman who claims she can show the full ropes of the writing business. It would be 3 months to a year to do. All she wants is $100 which she says is a really good deal. I told my mom about this and she said to ask my sister-in-law first before I go on this “excursion.” I think it’s legit.
I know I’m going to start out very slow considering how you have to keep up with the audio clips. I’m still excited.
I’ve been rearranging furniture and such for everyone coming over. She set up lights on one of the trees. It looks cool.
I need to start writing again. I’ve been neglecting my writing lately. My tentative plan is to study two hours a day for one month. I should be well oriented to take the exam by then. Hopefully that person woman I mentioned will still be willing to help me. lol. It may a higher fee but the rundown of all the services she is offering me sounds worth it. I want to do my two hours of study in the early morning then do my writing later. If only I could get up that early. lol.
So there has arisen an issue with our antivirus protection. All these pop-ups saying the computer has multiple viruses. Then we stumbled across something saying we still have 27 days left of protection. so I don’t know what is going on.
Getting back to the transcription thing, I want to search the net for some transitionist practice exercises. I think there will be.
I hit the PS4 for like 5 minutes - - then Jim got home. He did not work out as I thought he would. I believe he is off for the rest of the weekend. Tomorrow the family is coming over here. I’m not looking forward to the cleanup. lol.
My journal length is getting longer. I’m typing faster. Soon I’ll be buying myself a new PC. My mom would prefer a MAC. I want to stick with Microsoft.
Jim ate all the red licorice. My mom made me go get some more. I don’t care for licorice. It is among the least unhealthy candies out there.
President Trump is pushing to put Hilary Clinton and Barak Aboma on trial. Yes! I hope it goes through. Hillary especially deserves to be behind bars. I hope and pray Trump gets elected to a second term so the trial can go on.
Well, that is it for now. Goodnight.

I am so frustrated with this whole Transcribe me thing. I keep reentering my password and it keeps getting rejected. I emailed support and I hope I get a prompt response. I really want to get started ASAP.
I hit the PS3 for half an hour. The rest of my time has been trying to figure out the ins and outs of TranscribeMe.
I asked WdC help asking if I could use my account history for a resume. I was told by Northernwrites I could do so and use a link to go to my portfolio. That is mainly I am doing this low paying gig. One thing I need to work on is my typing speed. It’s decent at best. But if I want higher pay I must type considerably faster. My bro and my cousin type very quickly. Succeeding in this area is thinking up words at a faster arte as well. I think I can do that. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
Well I just found out that I had to look in my junk email to get the link. The style guide is about 500kb long in content. The English exam is about 200kb long. I’m skittish because I have to get perfect score on the exam. I’ll try to study long and hard. We prayed about this last night at the meeting. Speaking of which, last night was the pot luck. Carl Kirby talked. He talked about the three mediums that are pack full of messages. They are internet, TV and video games. Carl addressed two games specifically: Assassins’ Creed and GTA. I had no idea but in AC the main character saves Jesus from getting crucified. Mr. Kirby went on to say even in the material from as early as the 1960’s had propaganda. He showed one clip from the old classic The Incredible Mr. Limpet. In it, Don Nots, says humans came from fish. He is portrayed as a numbskull. Nevertheless the message was there.
I hung out with Pastor Jimmy and Kirby for a little bit. I told them about my triglyceride problem. Jimmy told me of this book called “The Myths of Cholesterol.” He strongly suggested I read the book. In the book the famous notion of eggs being really hurtful to one’s health is debunked. He said how the proponents of the claim are those who invest in drugs and treatment for the effects of eggs.
So my bro and his wife along with their baby daughter will be in town tomorrow. A lot of people are stoked about them coming. Hopefully Jim and my mom will be all better from their sickness. lol. My mom said she is getting over her sicknesses.
I need to learn to get faster at typing. I plan to time myself. I’ll keep at it. I’ll need this skill so I can make more income at my transcription job.
There are so many things on my plate right now. I have not written in over a week. I need to read too as well as doing anniversary reviews.
I did not make it to the gym today. I’ll try again tomorrow.
I want to get a program or something that will increase my typing speed. When I was a teenager I took this course on this cassette tape about. How to speed read. There has to be something out there that will help me type faster too. I’m getting faster just doing trying now. I’m like at six-hundred words already. Let’s see what else? I told Chad about my soon-to-be online transcriptionist job. I told him the low pay and eh was like “That’s at least something.”
Well, that’s it for tonight. Goodnight.

I tell you; this document formatting thing is driving me batty! On top of that I’ve been scouring the net or an online job with that I can use with my degree. It will come. Seek and ye shall find. I barely have time to write. I want a job where I can submit stories for pay - perhaps in a magazine. I am really interested in writing content for that Christian magazine Charisma. I hope I get a job online soon. I need money. I wanted to do some online tasks through Amazon Turk. I’ll get paid next to squat. But it’s good for a resume. But in order to create my own Turk account I needed my own my own G-mail account. So I made one up. Next I sign up. But all of the jobs I looked at require thorough knowledge of PowerPoint, excel, and fast typing pace to name a few. God will guide me to the perfect online job. On one particular site, it said to do research. I should do that. In Most Excellent Way we prayed for a job what caters to my degree, but more importantly, to work for a Christian organization. That would be the dream. I love writing Christian Fantasy. All
I’m texting Rickey now. Well, it’s more like I’m waiting for a reply.
Today has been good otherwise. Jim gets off work at 8:30 P.M. He went in at about 3:20 P.M. I’d say. The poor guy’s been internal side pains. He has Monday off and he’ll see a doc that day. He wants to request an MRI. It’s just getting older.
I hit the PS4 today for an hour. I’m getting better.
Ricky will be taking me to Lone Maintain. He’ll pick me up at about 8:30 A.M. I love the second service. It gives me a jumpstart on the day.
Well, that’s it for now. Goodbye.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
The day started well when I got up at 10:30 A.M. roughly. Normally, I’d wake up at like 9 A.M. and then just lay in bed until around 11:30 A.M. This time I actually woke up at 10:30 A.M. I had my quiet time and then I hit the PS4 for an hour. Then I fished the novel I was reading. Tomorrow I will start The Oath by Frank Peretti. It is a really meaty book. lol. But the cover summary looks enticing. It is basically about a string of odd deaths in a small town lake. Something sinister lurks there - a mysterious evil. I shortened and condensed the summery. It sounds spooky and ominous, something I dig quite well in this case.
I reviewed a compelling article about where to start with breaking into writing. One highlighted thing was submitting to newspapers with content writing. The author outlined how to expand from there into your own niche. It went a few other concepts. It was very informative. I gave him five stars.
I did some writing. Then I had to go get the food from the store for our own little Thanksgiving meal. lol. I picked up a whole cooked turkey breast for about $24. Then I got the other usual stuff. I’m waiting for the banana cream pie to thaw now that I’ve eaten. I’ll probably get a small piece. I don’t want to stuff myself. lol.
It is pretty nice outside – no need for the sweater I wore to the store. I loved the clouds. The supermarket was not busy at all. Just like I prayed.
There is still a lot of turkey breast left. It will last a few days. It had a really crusty skin.
So I imagine I’ll get my reply from Electio Publishing tomorrow or Monday. I hope they do.
So I’m still trying to combine my chapter files into a single file. There are a few steps though. On top of that I need to submit to more Christian publishers – and I need to find an online job. Uhg.
I texted a happy Thanksgiving to Ted, Ricky and Jordan today as well as Michael and Chad. They all got back to me. Jordan seemed especially happy to hear from me. Ricky seemed annoyed. Maybe it is just me – who knows? – don’t want to overthink things.
I would have texted Matt but I’m sure he’s blocked me.
Well, I have writing to do. Goodbye.

I’m a little drained. I tried to submit to a different publisher but when I hit upload, I can only do one period. My story is formatted so each file is a chapter. And all of those are in a folder. I tried highlighting all chapter files to upload simultaneously but only one chapter uploaded. lol. I have found a YouTube vid of how to combine all my chapters into one file. It’ simple, there are just several steps to do. I made a copy of my folder to work with though.
I had only two hours of sleep last night. I feel otherwise fine. My mom canceled her back procedure. I need to see the nurse practitioner for more of my anxiety meds - the one that is a controlled substance. Hopefully I’ll sleep tonight. Sleep deprivation is bad. I may take some melatonin if I’m too awake at bedtime.
I got a whole chicken and potato wedges for dinner. It isn’t too cold out now.
Chad was on the phone gabbing away while I was doing a review. lol. He couldn’t tell the difference. He tends to do that. He is off tomorrow so he may call around 8 P.M. like yesterday morning. My appointment to the doc’s office is at 11 A.M. My mom and I leave at 10:30 A.M. I only have about a week of my anxiety meds.
I have not written yet. I’ve too busy with reviewing, listening to Chad and figuring out how to do the document file thing. I’m getting tired.
I wrote up such a good entry questionnaire like how I plan to market my novel if it is published, what my novel is about and what makes it unique from other books in the genre. And then there is a short bio. I favorited that site with the submission info. I found it under the listing that said “11 Top Christian Publishers.” I still have not looked at all of them. Some of them were strictly nonfiction devotionals or memoirs or things like that. I saw like three that were for fiction. I’ll submit to them too.
Last night we prayed that God would give me a good job with a Christian company. I thought I told everyone I have a degree in creative writing.
I just emailed Electio Publishing about my issue about sending them multiple files. They said to wait for at least three business days. I hope they respond.
Well that is it for now, Goodnight to all.

Unfortunately I did not go to morning service. I texted Dan at like P.M. last night and he got back to me at about 8 A.M. today. Then I looked at my phone and saw his replay two-and a-a-half hours later. By then he was at church already. Oh well.
I hit the PS4 for for like two hours. When will I learn?
On another note, my story, The Search for the Wizard King, was in the fantasy newsletter this time. Two people reviewed it. I did not get very good star ratings. But they both basically reiterated that I could do better. One person said it could be a movie. Michael said the same thing about my novel The Gate of Vessels. One of them said it was short and that it could have been better as far as character development goes. That is my main issue with writing. One reviewer said to add more description. That might have been a personal thing though.
I am still scouring the net for an online job with my degree. I’ve been down many avenues with the wrong area. I have to keep looking. God will help me. I’ll be so happy when that time comes.
I did two anniversary reviews today. One was of a story that had five or size lines that were short. It was very emotional and it made me think. The other piece was a short article of how pencils and people are alike. Does it sound a little absurd? I thought the same thing. But what he said made sense and made me think.
I was looking for online magazines that accept fiction. I found a site highlighting twenty-five sites. I went through like five of them. That would be part of the dream – getting a short story published in an E-zine. lol.
I have to start my story that I outlined. I’ll begin tomorrow morning when I get home from the gym.
My mom ordered pizza. Two slices was enough. Normally I’d stuff myself. I have a triglyceride problem so I must watch how much I eat.
Jim had an early shift today. He may get home at 7:30 P.M. That is when he got off last night.
Well I’m off to scour the get for online jobs. Goodbye.

Under the discretion of my mom, I will not be publishing with Westbow Press. The deal sounded great but my mom said there would inevitably be more specials to come. I was excited but oh well. I asked the publishing consultant about editing. He said only people who have purchased packages can take advantage of any type of editing. That’s bad business if you ask me.
I hit the PS4 for too long again. Uhg. At least I did two anniversary reviews. Chad called me on his last break. He got off at three and said he would call me back when he got off but he hasn’t. I’ll probably hear from him later on. lol.
Yesterday was a buzzkill. Both Dan and Ricky were unavailable to take me to the Bible study. Dan had a race to prepare for and Ricky was out of town. Hopefully he’ll be able to give me a ride to the early service tomorrow. lol.
Chad said there were no games that came with the arcade stick he got. He must download them first. It was advertised to have 1,300 games pre-installed. Sucks for him.
My mom and I were watching Tron: Uprising last night. It was a series on Disney that had only one season of eighteen episodes. We already watched them but we’re re-watching them. This morning she was enjoying the very first Tron from the 80’s.
Chad sent me a pick of his Native American check. It’s a considerably large sum. I won’t say how much though. That lucky dog.
I am still looking for an online job. It’s hard. But seek and ye shall find.
Chad is texting me. He is mad over there being no games in the arcade stick. He wants a refund from his bank. He says he has the ad that says there are 1,300 games. He thinks that will work.
Well that is it for me Goodbye.

This will be short as I have thirty minutes to write.

So I am thinking my story is not worth publishing yet. I especially feel the ending chapters are rushed. I’m thinking of asking Westbow press for a content editor. I think I will forego the publishing package. I feel most of it is okay though.
I’ll have to tell Eric, the publishing consultant, I have declined his suggestion to publish. My mom looked on Google and the average amount for content editing is $7.50 per page. My story is about 56K words.
My story, the Search for the Wizard King, was in the Fantasy NL. Two people reviewed it. One said I need to develop characters and give them background. The other reviewer more or less said the same thing. He also said it was rushed which is the same thing I noticed myself doing. lol.
I did not hit the PS4 as I said I would not. I read the second to the last chapter of the book I’m reading writing. It took over an hour. The book by Frank E. Peretti, the Oath, will take some time to read. It is pretty thick.
I walked for over an hour today. It went by fast strangely. I did not bring my phone with me. But I recalled I left the house at about 11:10 A.M. and got back at about 12:30.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. Against such there is no law.”
I think I may have it down. lol.

Well, goodnight.

I’m a little excited. I just spoke with a publishing consultant on the phone who works with West Bow, a division of Thomas Nelson-Zondervan. I recall it is a self-publishing company. The consultants name is Eric Schroeder. Among other things I will get into later, he basically gave me the rundown on the different packages. He really emphasized and explained all the perks of what is called the Online Platform. It’s more or less the whole shebang. It includes marketing, distribution, a website, and more specific things. The whole thing will cost $3,299.25. Now this price is a sale price. Originally it is $4,399. The sale runs through November. It all sounds great. But I am erring in the side of caution. Eric said he would talk to me again on the phone on Saturday and 1 PM. I have more questions to ask – specifically other unmentioned fees if there are any. I feel like God is telling me to wait. Hopefully for not too long.
Chad called me when I was on with the consultant. I called back. He was cleaning his mom’s house to prepare for Thanksgiving.
My mom heated up a bird she got at Albertson’s. She was supposed to make a chicken pot pie. Oh, well. I had my roast beef to eat.
I saw Chrystal and Jeff at the gym today. I waved to her and smiled. She seemed to respond to me but Jeff wasn’t too happy it appeared.
I have to work on my back tomorrow at the gym. I left for the gym at about 8:30 A.M. today. Tomorrow I want to leave at like 6:30 A.M. or a little later.
I have to get back to writing every day again. I missed the last two days I think.
I will not play any games tomorrow. I will have a nice quiet time then I will read then write.
It was warn when I was walking to the gym. I had to take of my sweater. lol.
Jim gets off work at 7:30 P.M. after this I will watch stuff with my mom.
I love when God’s Spirit speaks through the Word. That’s when I feel Him.
My bro and his family of two will be here on the 27th I think. I dread the noise from the kids. It will be crowded. Uhg.
Well goodbye for now.

I only have an hour. My ride for church may be calling me soon.
I spent an hour editing my story for the Thrice Prompted thing. I changed to a little. There was one place where I had “hose” where I should have put “horse.” lol.
I realize it would be advantageous if I wrote outside my genre – fantasy. I need to do modern, real life fiction or speculative fiction. The last four books I’ve been reading were modern day Christian supernatural. I have a semi-idea for a modern day book about dreams and other realms. It will go much deeper than that of course. I want it to be a surprise. lol.
My mom is at the store no picking up some things.
I just looked at my phone and Dan, my ride, said he would pick me up. I have to verify the time so I texted him again.
I’ve missed the last two Wednesday nights I think. I don’t now if I’ll stay afterwards though.
So I am still looking for an online job. As usual I want submit fiction stories. I need to keep seeking. lol.
That would be some of the dream. Like always I want there to be evident Christian undertones that gives allusions to the Bible, such as heaven, Jesus Christ the son of God and God Himself as well as angels, elements from the book of Revelation and other spiritual content.
Our manual garage door opener panel was not working. Apparently, it had a battery that was close to dead. So we replaced it but not after getting stuck outside with no key inside and no way to open the garage door. We called my mom and she didn’t pick up. I got lucky and the panel worked for me. I thought we were stuck outside. Phew.
Let’s see, what else? Fox is siding with CNN to sue the White House for firing Jim Acosta. In laymen’s terms he was being pushy with interviewing the president that is alleged to be doctored. In this accusation, he was asked to desist his inquires of the president when he shoved his mike into an intern’s face.
Well, I have to go now. Goodbye.
