| Wow! It’s been a while! I need to get back in the game. I just started my fourth Thrice Prompted story. It looks like it has a great beginning I think. I read three chapters out of Paradise War. I stopped at near the end of the fourth chapter I read. It is getting good. The fantasy world has finally been introduced. The protagonist has stepped into the Otherworld – a place of magnificent wonder and primal beauty. Upon arriving, he meets his friend Simon who had stepped into the Otherworld before him. Lewis, the protagonist, is in the middle of a battle of warriors that appear god-like in their persona and build. That is where I stopped. lol. So Wealthy Affiliate is coming along slowly in light of the fact that I must keep up with my reading and writing. My goal is to do at least an hour of both. My goal for WA is to do at least 6+ hours a day on it. Lonnie the handyman put in the diming lights over the cupboards. He had to do take out the entire dishwasher to do the wiring. Apparently, the owners did it wrong. Anyway that took about an hour I’d say. Next, Lonnie will be doing more lighting in the dining room. It looks nice in the kitchen. Our remote is giving us problems. Sometimes it works others it doesn’t. lol. It could be the battery. Jim is at work now. I don’t know when he gets off – probably around 8:30 P.M. So there was no group text saying where the C&C would go out to eat. So Ted, myself and this other guy who’s name I forgot went to Taco Bell. It was nice chatting with those two. I got what I usually get – XX burrito and a taco. So back to WA, I want add pics to my home page as well as tabs. But I don’t know how to do that. I hope the training will show me that process. I’m still excited. I have to get my but in gear so I have time to do WA stuff and my writing. While they promise liberty, they themselves are slaves to corruption. That’s all I can recall of my next verse to memorize. For we once walked according to the course of the world, according to the prince of the prince of the power of the air – the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience. For He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Those two I got down; they’re short. lol. My mom watched me play DBFZ. | Well I just got to the lesson that discusses how to put pictures into posts. I’ve yet to put one in a post. I will be discussing heavenly/angel art. I have downloaded a pic from Wikimedia, one of the free image sites given in the tutorial video. I am quite excited about putting in pics to decorate my post. I have a general idea of what I want it to look like. Kyle gave a list of free pic sites too. I hit the PS4 for about 25 minutes. I was losing. lol. So I stopped. I read for an hour and got through three chapters. That’s a big difference compared to Peretti. lol. I remember some parts of the book from the first time I read it. Lawhead knows how to create atmosphere. I love it. It’s mystical and surreal. There was a glitch with one of the plugins on WA; it failed to update. I got a hold of site support for the problem. Then I tried updating it again and it worked. I posted my second article today. It was on art that is on sale at different sites. The article was about 700 words. I put in a very good key phrase: canvas oil paintings sale. It had a very low QSR and high traffic and monthly clicks. I also read a four page article called something like “the buying cycle.” It was very informative and gave knowledge about how to use what is being advertised on TV and magazines to my advantage. It also touched on narrowing down search words and phrases. It was snowing last night at church – pretty well too. lol. It was snowing early in the morning when Jim was getting ready for work. Chad called me and left a message; wake up and look at the snow. I didn’t listen to it until later. He was at Walgreens concerning his job there I believe when I called him back. I had my old favorite pizza: arugula. I ate the whole thing. lol. It wasn’t a normal size one. It was a personal size. Jim is at work now. I don’t know when he gets off. I texted him asking if he wanted me to put a pizza in for him but he said no. I’m a lot more hopeful about my book being published by Electio Publishing. I will inquire about my book after 90 days. If it is rejected I will send it to a copy editor. Then I’ll try another Christian publisher called Dove Publishing. They require authors to have their works copy edited. Well, that’s it for now. | This may be brief as it is almost 7 P.M. The day started out nice. My mom woke me up at about 9:30 A.M. with a special treat – a poppy seed muffin. I started my coffee and began my quiet time. My mom was reading her Bible as well. I read out of the book of Genesis. It was about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot’s family escaping. I was able to squeeze an hour of writing time. (= Soon afterwards we went to drop of our dog Nimue to the groomers. Then it was off to the dentist office. My friend Giovanni were texting up until the point that my mom and I arrived there. It was a short texting session. My phone was pretty low. After some snapshots of my teeth and face, my mom and I went to the store for some ingredients for spaghetti. It came out really nice. I hit the PS4 for thirty minutes. I was kicking butt. lol. By this time we had gotten Nimue. She was so cute with her little bow. Her bangs were cut so we could see her eyes and her cute face. She’s like a little black sheep. lol. I’ve resolved to go on with the WA training vids. It’s been over a week and I have not gotten any assistance. My mom went to CVS for some nail prongs. She was looking for wooden one but she saw a metal one instead. My mom and I saw George there. He grew a beard. It looks nice. We usually talk video games. He and I both only play DBFZ. He also foresaw how doomed MvCI was. Well, it’s 7 P.M. Goodnight. |
| This will be short as my ride to church will be here soon. I wrote for an hour today. I read for an hour too. Jim and my mom went to the doc’s office for Jim’s pain. He will be getting nerve blockage treatment. Hopefully it will do the trick. If not they will explore other avenues. On another note, Jim and my mom will be going to Colorado for a week in the middle of April. Good for them. I don’t mind at all. lol. It will be quiet except for Nimue. She’ll be sleeping in my bed for the duration of time. So it ends up that the TV did not just give out like I thought. Apparently, it just acts up from time to time. Jim fixed it. I hit the PS4 for thirty minutes. I was doing well. I successfully condensed my files into one continuous, chapter by chapter document. Then I submitted it to Electio Publishing. I submitted the same story to them. Well, Chad is on the phone. Until tomorrow. |
| I haven’t written in a while and I just did so for over an hour. I was feeling a little baked but I took a quick trip to the store and that helped relax my mind. lol. So I’m still waiting for tech support to assess my issue on WA. I stated my problem on the chat forum and I got some replies. One person said to wait another day. Some other dude said not to stop in my training. But I don’t want to skip a segment of the process. Nevertheless, I still must go on. Who knows when my issue will be addressed? Uhg. I even asked Carson, the technical dude and co-founder of WA. I’m getting impatient. Apart from that thing, the weather is very rain for like three days. I love it unless I’m caught with it out on the streets. lol. There hasn’t been much thunder or lightning. There was a 40% chance of rain today. I hope it rains tomorrow too, he, he. I need to supply my creative muse. That means to practice writing every day. I need to read more too. I’ve already picked out a book series I’ve read before called The Song of Albion by one of my favorite authors, Stephen R. Lawhead. My bro Josh likes him too. He suggests I read Brandon Sanderson, a prominent fantasy writer. He is not Christian though so I don’t know what I should expect. My mom is having her stomach surgery on her stomach on the 26th. I hope that is the last surgery she has for her stomach pains. Before, it was gall stones and now this. Well, I’m really tired, Goodbye. |
| I don’t have much time to type. My mom will be taking me to church soon. I had my dentist appointment and got three cavities filled. It didn’t take long. The doc had to give me an extra shot of anesthetic. lol. It looks like I’ll be getting three molar extractions in preparation for my Invisiline treatment. Instead of the conventional teeth molding, they used a new 3D scanner to render a super accurate image of my mouth. What was really cool was this pic of what my teeth will look like when I have completed the treatment. My mom put a down payment of $1,000. I’ll be paying $2,500 which is half of the cost. The whole shebang should last a little over a year or less possibly. A good thing is that if I need more Invisiline at the end still, I get more trays with no additional cost. I find I’m not as hyped as I was at the beginning with WA. Part of it is because I know I have to keep up with my writing. I want to spend like 8 hours a day on it, but I have to write too not to mention read. I’m half way done with condensing my files of my chapters. I think I’ll have a much better chance at getting my story published. I’m excited already. I will have it copy edited soon. I still have to look up Christian editors first. That shouldn’t take too long. Before I do that I want to send it in to Electio Publishing. I will wait for the 90 day max wait until I send it in to be copy edited if my manuscript gets rejected by that publisher. Well, Dan isn’t going to church and my mom is feeling unwell. I haven’t fellowshipped in two weeks. Well actually I do go to Most Excellent Way. I fellowship there. It’s good to hang with peers around my age though. I do just a bit of fellowship on Sunday mornings, mostly with my friend Jared. It rained a bit on the way to the dentist office. I love the rain as long as I’m not stuck and exposed in it. lol. A few days ago I was walking to the gym and it began to rain. I had to turn back. Well. that’s it for me. |
| Today has been good. I did some file adding of my chapters to my single file that now contains about half of my chapters. (= I found a new Christian publishing site called Enclave. It is strictly for sci-fi or fantasy. Unfortunately, the minimum word count is 75K. My fantasy book is about 56K words long. I will resubmit to Electio. This time, I’m doing it right. Now I might get published for real. lol. In my opinion, publishers get way too much of the pie when it comes to book royalties. One publisher has an 85% cut of the book sales. I think it would be advantageous of I got my manuscript copy edited by a professional. I don’t think it will cost overly much. I’m thinking of around one-thousand dollars. It varies with the length of the story. It feels good to be in my true element. Writing is the best! My stepdad is watching an ER type show like House. I forget what it’s called. I’m going to have to do lots of research on art. I did two anniversary reviews. Both of them were flash stories. One was in need of some work, the other was very good. I gave it five stars. It was very raw and gritty. It was about an insomniac on a balcony. So I’m all caught up with WA as far as the training goes. I have a long way to go though. My new year’s resolution is to read and write every day. WA has gotten in the way, sad to say. I have to focus on my baby – writing. When I have condensed my files I will send it to an editor. I have a bad idea it needs a lot of work. lol. But maybe I’m wrong. Who knows? When I do finish condensing, I will send it as is to Electio. Well, it’s past 7 PM. Goodnight. |
| It seems I am experiencing lots of technical issues with Wealthy Affiliate. It’s one thing after another. I’m always asking questions. It’s cumbersome. ugh. But I am learning. lol. Right now I’m trying to do my first feedback comment. Unfortunately, something with the tool that searches for sites to provide feedback for is not working. I put my daily quota of six hours in I think. lol. So I found some very lucrative art affiliate programs on one site. The top listed one has a 20% commission ratio! Oh, and I made my first content post! I sent a text to my bro asking for a comment. I’m satisfied with my post. Now I just need some feedback. That will happen when I give feedback for two other sites. For every two comments I get to request a review for my own site. I think that is a good system. It looks like the average word minimum is 1k per post. And the feedback must be truly constructive. You just can’t say why you like it. Well, that’s it for me. Goodbye. A |
| It would appear I will be endeavoring to polish my content writing skills as opposed to my general repertoire of creative fiction writing. This is because I have come to the point where I must begin doing posts for my website. It feels cordial and refreshing to go to my highs school style of composition. Nevertheless, I must stay on par with my fiction. For first post, I have to write an entry that is at least 1k words long-which isn’t hard. I hit the PS4 for about forty-five minutes. I was doing very well. New DLC characters in DBFZ have come out-Videl and some purple bald dude. Oh and I made it to Android rank. It’s been about time. lol. I took a gander at some cut scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3 Chad sent me. It was from Pirates of the Caribbean with Jack Sparrow and related characters. It was an hour long. Normally I would have waited until I got the game but DBFZ is the last title I will get. It would take too much time play it. Inadvertently, my writing and Wealthy Affiliate stuff will suffer. I altered my query letter in accordance with feedback from my pal Tobber. One thing I did regarded my use of Abyssal Army and Spirit Wraith to refer to the same beings. So I used the Find and Replace tool to get rid of all mentioning of Abyssal Army. I’ve ran into another issue. Right after I found a way to number my combined document, it appears I am unable to copy and paste my chapters. I can copy and paste my chapters. I was like-“Come on!” I searched on YouTube for an answer but it looks intimidating. I have to go to the coding platform; I’m scared I’ll screw something up. lol. Jim works for a six hour shift at Albertson’s. Chad sent me an interesting link about how Marvel may have derived elements from the Bible to create Apocalypse. Cut very short, he is actually Nimrod, the most evil person to have lived. He is also supposed to be the first mutant. Moreover, the Nephilim are born from angel-human relations. And from there the X-gene comes into existence. The whole clip was about twenty minutes long. It was quite fascinating. I wonder if my TranscribeMe account has been terminated. lol. It’s been months since I’ve done any activity. I didn’t even complete the English Exam. I am very glad I found the world of affiliate marketing. Transcribing is a sweat shop. lol. | Oh it’s been so long! I haven’t posted an entry in weeks. A lot has transpired since then. I won’t speak of it all but I’ll highlight the most exciting things. The most prevent thing which has occurred is Wealthy Affiliate. It is an affiliate marketing platform. Affiliate market is basically having a website where you put other company’s merchandise up for sale. It takes lots of work to succeed in this business. And it may take over a year to make good revenue but the point is to keep trying and follow all the training. I’ve barely scratched the surface and there is much to learn. Nevertheless, I know I will make it if I keep up with the program. (= I did have to pay a hefty sum for a yearly membership- $360. I have been spending an upwards of 6+ hours a day on WA. But I do not want for affiliate market to overshadow my writing. For the past few days I’ve been on WdC. I wrote my query letter for my novel. It was reviewed with an honest, helpful critique of my outline. I edited according to that person’s critique and apparently my query was better. I haven’t been playing the PS4 much. I did play today though. I was doing well. I went back to super saiyan. lol. My mom and Jim have grown a good, closer relationship. They laugh a lot together. Well. I figured out a way to number my combined chapters. I simply numbered them manually with the “start from” option for each new chapter segment. I could have done that a long time ago. lol. I do plan to resend my story to Electio. This time it will be properly uploaded. I have high hopes. But I would prefer to send it to an editor first. That’s the reason for joining WA.
