Oct. 15: October 15th is National Grouch Day. Share what makes you grouchy.

I’m actually rarely grouchy, so I’ll change grouchy to irritated.
Queuing is guaranteed to cause irritation. If there’s a queue for something I’d actually rather go without whatever the queue is for.
Same with being put on hold on the phone, the longest I’ve had to hold on was over an hour whilst trying to speak to a provider
Telemarketers are extremely irritating. They always call at the most inconvenient time. Dinner time is a favourite time for them to call.
I dislike the way that supermarkets put Easter buns on the shelves as soon as Christmas is over! What’s that about?
Littering irritates me. People walk off leaving their rubbish behind, even when a bin is within a short walk away. I pick up dropped rubbish daily on my morning walk.
Oh, my goodness, there’s so much to make a person grouchy isn’t there? Maybe I am a grouch.🤔

Week 3 Prompts:
Oct. 12: Write about elevator music. Do you ever sing or hum along?

Oct. 13: List ten rules you've broken.

Oct. 14: Write about a piece of art or jewelry that has special significance to you.

Oct. 15: October 15th is National Grouch Day. Share what makes you grouchy.

Oct. 16: Write about a scary moment from your life.

Oct. 17: Tell us about the best pizza you ever had.

Oct. 18: What is something that drives you nuts?

As it’s already the 14th, maybe I should try for a catch up.

So about elevator music. I rarely go in elevators, but supermarket music I always notice and find myself singing along. Exception would be the Christmas Carols that are played from November onwards. Too much, too early.

Ten rules I have broken? I suppose it depends on who’s rules we’re talking about. If the prompt is asking for laws then I shouldn’t imagine there’d be ten.
1 Speeding
2 Drink Driving a couple of times. 😩
3 Nope can’t think of anymore.

A piece of art that has special significance.
Well I wouldn’t exactly call it art but when my son was about ten, he made a concrete Donald Duck at school. It was about a foot tall and painted blue and yellow. . This item was a door stopper for many years and then it became a garden ornament. Over the years he lost all his paint and gradually more and more of his body. All we have left is his head. It still sports his jaunty cap and sits in my front garden. My son is now 47!
