On Saturday.Monday, we met thé contingent down at the Loveland Aquarium. (Finally got to check that one off my bucket list! Thanks for flying out with your boy’s Mark! I don’t think I would have made it otherwise! Found out Carl was having some serious health issues, and he went in for a PET Scan, and Bone Marrow Biopsy, which showed he has T-Cell Lymphoma, which is somewhat rare and difficult to treat. He just finished up his last chemotherapy treatment, (it’s now July) and he underwent another bone marrow biopsy yesterday, and will have another PET Scan on Friday before he meets with his doctor to determine whether he is a good candidate for Stem Cell Transplant. Fingers Crossed. It makes it especially Cary and hard to deal with, as the US has been in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic! Utah is now over the 31,000 cases mark. I was tested back in April, but it came back negative. Mom and I have been pretty much laying low. We are both High risk, because she is 91, and I have many health issues. She is really healthier than I am. |
