Isaiah 56:1-2
Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

How do we keep judgment and do justice and keep from polluting the Sabbath day?

Answer:
I believe this is saying to make good choices. Do what is right always. The way to do this is to make Christ your focus. We keep the Sabbath by setting it aside for rest and worshipping God.

Scripture writing - Psalm 91:1-4


Scripture:
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Observations
Verse 1- If dwell wrapped up in God, then we have his protection always.
Verse 2- I will trust God for my protection.
Verse3- He will deliver you from any small traps set for you or from any pestilence.
verse 4- He watches over me like a hen watches her chicks and I am sheilded in his truth.

Application
If I stay focused on God, He will keep me safe.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me to keep my focus on you and stay dwelling in your presence. Let me know your truth as a shield. Keep me safe.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Make-Up Scripture writing - James 1:2-8

For March 3, 2021


Scripture:
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Observations:
Verse 2- When you are tempted, be joyful.
Verse 3- When your faith is tried, it causes you to increase patience.
Verse 4- As patience is developed in you, you will become whole and not lack any good thing.
Verse 5- If you lack wisdom how to face any trial, ask God what to do. He will give you the wisdom to know how to handle it.
Verse 6- when you ask anything of God, you need to have unwavering faith, knowing he here's you and will answer your prayers.
Verse 7- If your faith wavers, you will not receive what you ask for.
Verse 8- If you are not focused on God, you will not be stable.

Application:
Stay focused on trusting God. We can be joyful when we are tempted or have our faith tried, knowing it is for our good and we will come out better for it in the end. We can trust God to give us wisdom on how to handle any situation if we just ask him for it. Wavering faith shows lack of complete trust.

Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank you for the confidence you provide in faith. Thank you for working in us to make us better even if it hurts a little. Help me to stay focused on trusting you. Don't let my faith waver.
In Jesus name,
Amen
