I have written a piece for a couple of people to join in with starting with me. Sitting alone in my room with these incessant voices in my head. That seem to be in my heart. Play your own character and let your problems in life seep out. Just write and let this be a place of healing.

| Nicole simply sat in her chair in front of the computer wondering when things were going to change. Was Barbara ever going to contact her again? What was she going to do if she didn't? How come Barbara didn't love her anymore. A life of emptyness and on top of that hearing voices in her head telling her she's useless and pathetic and hardly ever one telling her to the contrary. Barbara was gone, probably in hospital but she didn't know how long she was going to stay gone for. It was so hard being another country away from the woman she loves and wondering whether or not she was ever going to hear from her again. Upset, depressed and alone Nicole lived her life to the best of her abilities. Or...not really lived. Suicidal attempts and wanting to cut her wrist became such a part of that "life" that she didn't want to have one any more. No what she lived wasn't a life...but merely a dull existance. Like an empty shell of a person without any hope for the future. Empty and alone. Knowing she'd never hear from the woman she loves again. Knowing the only thing that she ever truely loved and made her happy was gone. Forever. |
