Two young Egyptian slaves sent on a mysteries quest to free the gods and goddess.
[Introduction]
One day in Egypt 35BC there was a king. His name was King Tut. He hade a favorite slave named Hanak. He was only a kid. His dad died and his mum is also a slave.
One-day King Tut called over Hanak. Tut said “young boy I must tell you something”. Hanak replied in a nervous voice “yes”. Tut said “take this scroll and map. Find out how we can free the gods.” “Where do we find them?“ asked Hanak. Tut said “I would have gone myself if I knew and you have a quarter of the map. Here is a bag with all the supplies you will need. Tomorrow you leave.” Hanak left to the city to get some more food for Tut. He went back to his room to rest since tomorrow might be the last time he will ever see home.
The next morning, he got up to eat breakfast, bun with grapes. As he left the room, he saw his mum. He noticed and knew that her day off is today so he went over to say bye to her. As he walked there he did not see her move and noticed she was not breathing. He still went over to double check. As he felt her heart it was not moving at all. He ran to Tut to say so but as he came over to him Tut said “your mum was an old person. She was my sister’s favorite so she will be in the after life with my sister.”
As Hanak walked out of the palace he looked at a map hoping that he did not go to the desert straight away. He walked and walked but no sign of anything, only sand and small groups of grass. He hoped this will be the farthest from he will ever be from home. He looked in the bag to see if there was anything he might want.
After 3 days, he saw a castle. He went over and said to the guard “can I please come in for a night?” “Only if the master is okay with it” said the guard. So poor little Hanak stood there in the hot sun waiting for the guard to come back. The guard came back and said “of course not you little animal” and he threw a peace of bread so Hanak would go away. Hanak did not even try to get in, he just sadly walked away. He was starting to starve but through the sand he still walked. He sat down after his week long trip in the dessert.
Hanak woke up and he was in a sand storm. He could not do anything. It was too dangerous so he sat there for 5hours strait. Then he started again through the sand. At the horizon, he saw the top of his first pyramid.
When Hanak got to the pyramid, he just stood there for a long time. He was talking to himself saying “will I live? Will I die?” Then he grabbed his quarter of the map and went into the pyramid. Hanak heard feet coming around the bend and he jumped behind a wall. He opened his eyes expecting to be in the afterlife or something, but saw a young girl. She had orange hair with freckles. “What are you doing here and who are you?” Hanak said confused. The girl replied “My name is Celata and I am from the north village. Who are you?” “I am Hanak. I was sent on a quest by King Tut,” replied Hanak. “What quest?” she said. “To free the gods from the sky,” he said. “Same,” she said.
After a long talk they decided to do the journey together.
“Celata, do you think other kids are doing this?” asked Hanak. “No,” she said.
As they walked in, they were a bit scared. Hanak thought there is probably booby traps and he was right. He took a second step and set off an alarm. “Quick. Duck,” yelled Celata. As they did, a huge rock swung over their heads. “We really need to have our eyes open,” said Hanak. “Agreed,” she said. After that, they kept their eyes open. There was a gust of air. Celata said “Where did that come from?” They hear a calm voice,“Come children. I need to help you since my father, Ra, is in that tomb” said the wind. “Who are you?” said Hanak. “I am Nut, the sky goddess,” she said. They saw the wind shift into a blue body with little white stars on her body. “You are a real goddess?” asked Hanak. “Yes,” Nut said. Her voice was nice. Celata was speechless. The two kids agreed to let Nut help.
They started going deeper in to the pyramid. Celata was asking a lot of questions to Nut as they wandered. But as for Hanak was quiet the whole time except one time he said “stop asking questions”. They were not stumbuling on to booby traps or anything bad for a bit, then they walked down a long hall. They were almost at a turn when the walls started to change in to different paths. The kids started to sweat but Nut said “the walls go farther away from heat signatures”. They started to calm down until…
A voice started to haunt them Celata said “Nut do you know witch god or goddess that is”. “I am not positive but is think its Set or Sobek” replied Nut. “They’re both mean gods and powerful ones” said Hanak in a nervous voice. “We need the key of chaos that set has to get in to the chamber were Ra’s sarcophagus is” said Nut. “How can we tell witch one is witch” he asked. Nut replied calmly “don’t know”. The voice started to haunt them again. “Show your self” shouted Nut. Hanak and Celata looked around hoping there was not a huge monster or something next to them. Then there was a flash of green light. After they looked around and hovering on top of them was a crocodile headed god looking for them. Hanak whispered “what do we do”. Nethier Celata or Nut talked back they were staring terrified. Hanak was not since he has seen really bad toe jam and he was much nicer then that in his opinion.
The crocodile god finally noticed them and said,“Why did you summon me children.” They did not reply back. Hanak was lost in his thoughts and Celata was frozen. Nut stood up and said, “They did not summon you. I did.” After a few seconds she whispered, “for them”. “Ahhh Nut, what are you doing here?” “Helping the children on a quest, Sobek,” she replied. Sobek asked “Why help mortals?” “I got sent by our king, you ball of slime!” she yelled back. “Very well. I’ll will stop you, if that’s the case,” he said. Nut said to him, “I can feel strength in them. Their pharaoh chose them for a reason.” Sobek was clearly mad. Then Hanak and Celata quickly ran behind the closest wall. Then Sobek said, “looks like I will have to get some minions to kill them. Toodles.” Nut ran to the kids and said, “What was that for?” Hanak said,“it was a movement my body told me to do.”
Celata said “Nut, do we kill him or do we die?” “You fight the best you can to kill him, but for now let’s train,” replied Nut. Then out of no where, there was a reptile voice that said, “No time to train. You will die now.” Celata screamed. Hanak was still thinking and Nut was the only one who answered. She said, “Go Sobek’s minions. I will win the fight.” As the little crocodile people saw the goddess, they ran at the speed of light to the exit. “Why are they scared of you?” asked Celata in a curious voice. Nut spoke again in a calm voice, “They know they have no chance against a goddess.” “Oohhh,” said Hanak and Celata at the same time. Then Hanak said, “I heard you say something about our kings chose us for a reason. Why is that?” “You two are brother and sister. Your father was Geb, the god of the Earth and my husband,” Nut said in a gloomy voice. Celata and Hanak stood their staring at each other. Then Hanak said,“If our dad is a god, then what are we?” “You are demi-gods. If you try hard, you can maybe do something magical,” said Nut. She looked much happier now. Nut turned to look at the kids and they were both saying things like “make me rich” or “give me a buffet”. Nut started to giggle. Then Hanak turned and saw that she was giggling and asked “why are you giggling?”. As he said that Celata turned to see her giggling. “It is the fact about you guys are trying hard magic.” She said. Then they walked around the pyramid Nut was telling them how to do some spells. Hanak got the hang of a lifting spell. Celata got the hang of a healing spell.
They were walking around the pyramid for a while. Then Nut said “what are you kids looking for again”. “A quarter of a map” said Hanak. Then he said we “should stay here for a bit maybe”. They both agreed to stop for the night. Hanak started to reach in to the bag to get something to eat but before he finished Nut said “ill make diner”. Then she made some dates and fish out of nowhere. “Wow” said both Hanak and Celata at the same time. “How did you do that” asked Celata? “Magic” she said. Hanak commented “Yah” as if he was a god (well he sort of is). They woke up and Celata was not there and Hanak noticed that nut was a very strange sleeper. She slept upside down and in the shape of a star. Hanak shouted “Celata, Celata”. His shouting woke up Nut. She said “why are you shouting”? He explained that he woke up and Celata was not there. Nut stated to say some spell. Then he saw a globe and he asked what the blobs were and where that blob that said America was. He asked things like that since we had not found the hole world yet.
Nut said “look at that dot there is where she is some of Sobeks minions took her to try to separate us”. “So we find her”? Asked Hanak. Then Nut gave him look witch clearly said “duh yah”. “Okay off we go”. Hanak took one step and went strait through the ground Nut quickly followed. Nut said “Hanak you found treasured room”. She turned her head and Hanak was stuffing his shirt with gold. “Hanak you can not take that you will be cursed” She said. So Hanak put the stuff away. Sand started to fall from the celling. “Nuttt” screamed Hanak. “Be calm and jump through this portal” She shouted. Hanak did so it was a tube made of sand and on the other have he saw a plain field of grass. They got to the other land. “Is this where you live” asked Hanak. “No this is 2015 A.D. England country side now change into this over in the bush” She said as she gave Hanak a jeans and tee shirt. Hanak looked at it like it was gross. Then he walked over to the bush and put it on. Hanak asked “Why are we here”? “This is the year that Sobek sent his minions to” She said. They went over to the street and Nut made a car show up on the road. When Nut sent them there she did not say in public property. So the man that had the property was coming up his street when he saw them they both ran to a close bush. When Hanak covered his eyes they both turned invisible. "Wow" said Hanak "you're great with magic, Nut" Nut does a funny little giggle then says "you did that magic you turned me plus you invisible". His jaw opens like it was disconnected from his skull. Then the longest scream of joy ever and I mean it came out of him. Then the old farmer came and broke the happy moment. He looked maybe 60 or 50. He was wearing the classic farm closet plaid with jeans. The big thing was he had a large shot gun so big Hanak pretty much wet his jeans. Then he said "come on out the hiding will just make se.. I mean Sobek mad". Nut came out of the hiding and took Hanak with her she said "you dare speak the name of the one evil leader of the evil and so on". The farmer stats to giggle but holds himself back. But in real life it was funny people were tolled that the gods said amazingly wise words, but so on is not what they say. The farmer really Sobek's minion ran to a van Hanak thought he celeta. It might have been someone else, because when she opened her mouth people pointed there shot guns at her direction.
Then Nut spoke up "we should find somewhere to rest for the night". "Yah" he said. they walked on till they came to a humongous civilization. With bent lines that spelled "Welcome to great London". Hanak followed Nut till they came to a tall stack of rectangle rocks with squares of glass. There were more bent lines like this "Holiday Inn London". Hanak had a really puzzled look on him so nut spoke and told him "This place is called a hotel there are beds and food there. You get what you need for the night". Still Hanak is still confused he nodes to say he under stands.
As they got in top the hotel Hanak had his jaw open for the hole tour. On the desk where a lady works there was another group of bent lines that said "Five star". anyhow the room they were in was much nicer (and futuristic) then king tut.
