The carnival {part 1}

The Carnival

Laura Murphy looked at the poster on the pole and felt the excitement in her belly. The Carnival was coming back to Dublin she could not wait to go, she would have to ask all her friends to go with her and it was going to be arriving just in time for her sweet 16th she could not wait.
The Carnival was fucking amazing, especially in this boring place thought Laura
Laura and her two friends Kat and Donna had a sleepover in Laura’s house on friday night as it was her birthday the next day and all 3 were going to the carnival.
‘It's going to be so much fun said donna ‘literally can't wait
‘Omg, I wonder if that fit fella you were mad about still works there Laura? Asked Kat
‘I forgot all about him oh my god giggled Laura.
The next morning the 3 girls had a lovely fry with lauras family and watched as Laura opened her lovely birthday gifts. Then they got ready and headed out.
They arrived at the carnival and first, they went on the magic carpet two times, then they headed towards the waltzers they knew this was where Lauras' crush could be.
‘Is that him in the orange t-shirt? Kat asked
‘Yes but please don't say anything please girls begged Laura
They proceeded to get on the ride and the boy smiled at Laura and she shyly smiled back.
Laura was 16 but was extremely shy, she had never kissed a boy but the other two had and Laura had lied to her friends and said that she had kissed a few boys while she was away on holidays or staying with her cousins she would die if they found out she was a liar.
Kat purposely walked slowly when they got off the ride to ask the boy out for Laura, she knew Laura since they were small and had a sneaky feeling she never kissed a boy.
‘Look what I got for you happy Birthday babe’ said Kat proudly
‘What? asked Laura puzzled
‘His name is Timmy and he's 19 and he is now working tomorrow night and he wants to meet you.
The three girls screamed with excitement and when a few people start looking they all start laughing and ran off like normal 16-year-old girls.
They each got a burger and a coke from the van at the fare and walked back to Lauras they were all so happy and if they knew what was about to happen to their best friend they would never return to the place.
