"Stormy's poetry newsletter & contest"  [ASR]     All entries must be posted in your portfolio and you must post the link in this forum by November 20, 2007.

Volume Dependent Contests: November 16, 2007
"Invalid Item"      Contest periods will be atleast a month (Round Six Ends: 16 Nov 2007). If at the end of month less than 10 entries are recieved the contest will continue until this mark is achieved.


Daily Contests
"The Writer's Cramp"  [13+]     Each day around noon (w.com time), one of our judges will post a writing prompt. The contest ends before noon the next day.

"Daily Flash Fiction Challenge"  [13+]     When the new prompt is posted, you'll have about 24 hours to post your entry.


Weekly Contests
"Invalid Item"      Each week, beginning Saturday at midnight (Writing.Com time), a new prompt will be posted. You will have until the stroke of midnight the following Saturday to get your entry in.

"Invalid Item"      A weekly flash fiction contest. Prompts will be listed on Sunday and will be reviewed and judged the following Sunday. You have until Saturday, midnight, WDC time to enter.

"A Picture Is Worth A 1000 Words Contest"  [ASR]     Round 70: October 27th - November 2nd 11.00PM WDC time.

"COLORING THE WORLD CONTEST TEMP. CLOSED "  [E]     Contest begins every Monday at noon WDC time and ends every Sunday at 7:00 pm WDC time.

"Invalid Item"      Due to a most generous benefactor, this contest will be held weekly. Round #5 will start: Thursday, November 1st, and ends Thursday, November 8th @ 11:00 P.M., WDC time.

"Invalid Item"      Deadlines and prompts will be posted weekly, but the contest may be extended or closed early if necessary.

Monthly Contests: November 30, 2007
"THE DROP-OFF BOX "  [13+]     Each round closes at Midnight, [Eastern Standard Time] on the last day of each month. Entries posted after that date will automatically be entered in the next round (if eligibility is met).

"The Bard's Hall Contest"  [13+]     The Bards Hall is a monthly contest, running from the beginning to the end of each month, with a new genre for each round.

"Invalid Item"      At the beginning of each month a new round will begin, and items can be submitted for that round up until midnight GMT on the last day of that month.

"Invalid Item"      Round 7 has now begun, and will end on November 30th at midnight EST.

"Invalid Item"      A monthly contest for short stories 500 - 2,000 words in length. Closing date for Round 4 is 30th November

"Invalid Item"      Round 3 Prompt is: Party Time! Closing date for Round 3 is 30th November at noon WDC time

"Invalid Item"      Round Two is OPEN and will close on 30th November.



Bi-Monthly Contests: December 6, 2007
