  Welcome! This is a short story contest that will last 48 hours. On a Friday, you will be emailed a prompt. You will have 48 hours to write your story and post it in this forum.  Contest closes that Sunday at 11:59pm W.com time. Round 6 is Ended. Email Legerdemain   if you'd like to be added to the contestant list for the next round.You will be emailed a notify when the next round opens.  First place will win 50,000 GPs. Second place will win 25,000 GPs. Third Place will win 10,000 GPs. Fourth and Fifth Place will win 5,000 GPs. Honorable mentions will be awarded as judge deems appropriate. Judge: Legerdemain   Particulars and Rules  TO ENTER, click and fill out this entry form.  "48 Hour Short Story Contest Entry Form"   Entry to this contest will cost 500 GPs. You are not considered a contestant in this contest until you are added to this group. "48 Hour Short Story Contest Group" I will add you to the group as soon as you fill out the entry form. There is a limit of 75 contestants allowed to enter. Prompt will be emailed to all members of the group for this contest. You will be reminded of the contest closing time in the email. The email will also let contestants know when the awards will be given, this date will be determined once the Judge sees how many entries need to be read. Short story MUST contain every part of the prompt or will be disqualified. Short story MUST be a story and short! 1000-3000 words. Word count MUST be placed at end of story. Content of your entry must be [18+] or below. [GC] & [XGC] entries will be deleted and not considered. Your story will be posted DIRECTLY in the forum. Your message title MUST say ENTRY. You may also post a link at the end of your entry in the forum to a static in your port for reviewers. You may edit your entry until the closing time announced in the prompt email. Any entries edited after that time for any reason will be disqualified.Good luck!
