This is a two-month contest, ending May 31st, consult timer above.

SUGGESTIONS:

I'm a bit eclectic in the free verse sense, experimenting with sounds that employ light alliteration, assonance and some rhyme where it fits. My tastes can vary, but I will look for expertise as well as unique themes built around a single metaphor with words/imagery that compliment. Just surprise me.

Hopefully, we can share and discuss reactions and experiences as poets with takeaways and desire to foster free verse through these challenges. Contest/forum seeks to inspire new poetry with these prompts, help each other, sponsored by "Wheelbarrow Poetry Group (Be A Member)" . The Red Wheelbarrow Poetry Project opened in 2022 with renewed vision. A host of prompts and information to help writers craft their prose, free verse style, is available. Constantly editing a book of articles, prompts, lessons and more for members to consume and/or try.
