Write poetry from prompts just for the fun of it; formal or free verse, you pick.

# 19. this was unraveling
19. Write a poem about repetition, of things, events etc. repeating themselves. Pay attention to the idea that everything may repeat itself, but not in the same way.

Last night twas the same
stream of video fusing
my lust for vice with vice.

I came and went onto
a different stream
my cravings diffused
into "where is my soul?"

The music is the same
nostalgic base pumping
passing delicate orbs
gaining and losing control.
You came too.

"What is not flesh is not real"
I find myself chanting
and is this sleep I
cannot help repeating
same dream

same dream
