Dealing with Menopause
I remember the exact day and time that I first got my period - May 10, 1973 - right after my math class and I was going to another class - when my teacher saw that famous 'red spot' on the back of my light colored skirt - he asked me if it was my 'menstruation' - to which I answered in my true dumb teenage way, yes - and so began the 30+ years of PMS and yes of knowing what was happening and 'never' wearing a light colored skirt at that time of t he month. But now that it is over, or beginning, I feel old - I do not have children, nor do I want them, but I feel like I am over the hill now, that my femininity is dissolving - and yet intellectually I know that that is not true. I am appreciative for this forum and look forward to reading more.
