Mr. Darcy thought he was high and mighty and superior to Elizabeth and the Bennett family. Elizabeth didn't back down from him and his looks and money didn't intimidate her. She stood up to Mr. Darcy. Secretly, Mr. Darcy liked that and started to fall for Elizabeth. She was a challenge and a conquest. He won Elizabeth's heart. Mr. Darcy came down off his high horse.
