Yeah...As they say, too long! My daughter was married the end of August, then I had a marathon contest on this site (and I DO mean marathon, as it took an entire month from start to finish), and finally, there was a fire at my place of employment, which necessitated a couple of seventy-hour weeks. So I honestly went two and a half months without writing one rotten thing...really bogus, since this is my favorite time of year as I love horror.

Of course, some might say that I've lived it as of late. What's shakin' on the NHRU front? No crazy non-human contest or anything? (On the other hand, everybody and their brother is having some kind of "ghoulish" contest, so now might not be the time...) Maybe in November, while many are doing NaNo and the contests drop off a bit?

Well, back to my "killer" story...
