Nancy's Poetry Review Forum

Edgework's "review" did not make a single reference to my poem. He did not offer any constructive criticism. Instead, he insulted my intelligence by suggesting that I had missed the point of poetry and insulted my personal character by insinuating that I did not have confidence in my work. He offered no explanation for his rating. No reasonable person could read what he wrote and then say that he actually reviewed my poem, and it's entirely disingenuous for you to imply that he properly conducted the business of the this forum. I don't know anything about his writing and I don't care. His review was not supportive and not educational, and it did not question or criticize the poem I asked him to review.

I would love to have my work honestly and critically reviewed, and I will be happy to submit more work for review in this forum. However, I expect the person reviewing my work to actually review my work, and you can be sure that I will treat any negative remarks not pertaining to work itself as harassment.
