A little more context might help. When is this story set (past, present, future)? What genre (fantasy, sci-fi, since it features an entire race in happy servitude, I’m ruling out historical fiction)? Is it on this planet? You describe this race with Nordic features, are these people from the same land as the people they serve, or from a different land? What are the differences in the lands? What is the geographic relationship between the two lands? Do they natively speak the same language? Are the languages from the same language branch? Is their language based on an earth language? Is the race’s name derived from the server’s language, or the served? Does each group have a nickname for the race (English call French Frogs, Asians were once called Celestials)?

Working out an entire fictional world is difficult; filling in back story helps.
