Oh, you don't do Alabama justice. It's not called Alabama, the Beautiful, for nothing. It's a beautiful state with tons of reasons for living here. Thank Goodness, we're past the civil unrest of the '60s and '70s. That truly is a blot on our image. I know we have room for improvement there, but we're on the right path. I admire Martin Luther King for all that he did for Alabama. Yes, football is huge here. You almost HAVE to be either for Alabama or Auburn. It's almost a requirement for residency.  I don't care much for it, but my husband is a TRUE Alabama fan down to the bone and still mourns the loss of Bear Bryant to this day.Pat Check these out!
