Jane did an exceptional job portraying a very manipulative woman determined to have everything her way. My heart went out to the daughter in this story, Frederica was only an inconvenience in her mother's life. The story is different than others of her work because it is completely done in correspondence by the main characters amongst each other. Has anyone else read this? What did you think?
