Lady Susan wanted someone else to take Frederica off her hands so she can find a husband or a play mate{ I am so brave! Sorry, Jane!} Lady Susan didn't want to be bothered. She was selfish. I read the story. I thought Lady Susan was like a loose woman. Her letters said a lot about her. If I was Frederica, I would have wanted to be free of this woman. Lady Susan just loved herself.
