I found this topic to be a thought provoking idea.

I think the meaning hasn't changed much over the years. To be referred to as "accomplished" would still be a compliment . However, what we accomplish might not have held up to the snobbishness of Jane Austen's time or circle of characters.

I think that all the requirements you listed could have only came from association of a privileged station. Whereas a modern woman could obtain many of these talents outside of her family circumstances.
