T.beard is right - this is an awesome activity! I just went through and looked for our members who did not have a sponsor as of tonight and I sponsored two of them using our group name. I will donate the GPs myself, but I wanted to have other writers see our group name and possibly get involved with us.
The Write-A-Thon is aweoms and gives everyone an incentive to hit their word count goals so their team can beat all the other teams. If you're doing NaNo this year, why not get involved?
