When your paid membership expires and you move down to a free account, your items are not moved - they are locked. When you renew at the same or higher paid membership, those items are unlocked, but it isn't instant. The utility takes 15-20 minutes for that to happen, so your 103 items should be showing in your portfolio again by now.

You also need to follow the directions in the confirmation email, and log out and log back in again to reset your current session.
