1. Yes, there are content-rating limits, and while XGC covers a lot of things, it does not mean "everything goes". Content Rating System (CRS) from Writing.Com 101 https://www.writing.com/main/agreement.php 5. LIMITATIONS ON CONTENT This site may include bulletin boards, chat rooms and other user and author created pages that allow you and other users to post information, content, provide feedback, and interact in real time. You agree to not submit, post or otherwise transmit any material for which you do not hold legal copyright. Yes, NPL items are visible in your port to whatever access setting you give them, and if that access setting permits, other people can use a link to get to them. 3. Yes, 10 item limit for a free membership. Which can be 10 Static items at 50K each, which is enough space to hold a small novel. Also, members are allowed to delete items and post new ones at will, so while a free membership won't allow you to display more than 10 items indefinitely, the number of texts that can be displayed serially to get feedback (and then be deleted and replaced by something else) is ten at a time but not limited overall. This is a peer review site, not a publishing site. 4. It depends on how you define "work". Yes, you could link to other items at the end of the main item. However: There's no way to prevent people from reading the items out of order, as they would all be equally visible in your port. NPL only keeps people from finding the items in the site listings. Such an arrangement would be read-only; readers would not be able to "add" to such a story the way they can with an interactive item. The audience for alternate-ending stories is going to be looking in the Interactive items listings rather than in the Static items listings. Hope that helps.
