It's not difficult to meet folks and even make good friends as the case may be. Try entering contests, reviewing and joining a group or two that has like interests. (Believe me, there are many and you are bound to find the perfect fit within one of these groups.) You'll meet many like-minded friends as you become more active in the community.
Most of all, enjoy yourself! This is a fabulous community of friendly, helpful folks. WDC is like a second home to many of us. I've been here for nearly 10 years, and really do love this place.
