Site search doesn't look at the "body" content of items.
Best bet for a shortcut -- Check My Account/My Summary Stats, click on My Activity, and for the date (within the past 15 days), and see if it's listed there.
If the item was set to no access restrictions, you might be able to google it with the exact phrase. You could also specify writing.com.
Otherwise, repeating the kind of search you were doing and seeing if any of the titles looks familiar would be your only option. You might need to page a little farther back with the recently modified sort. Once you open the item, you can use browser find to check that the exact phrase (or some subset) is in the item.
If you experience shutdowns frequently, for future prevention, you might want to consider using a Favorites folder for "items I am reading" or saving a Review Tool draft for the item before reading.
