Monthly Writing Accountability Challenge

These are slightly smutty romance novels as well as fantasy. She's got an epic world put together and the books span decades and there are also witches and several pantheons of gods (which are meddlesome at best, and spiteful at worst) so there's definitely a lot going on besides the romance (she focuses on a different pair for each book with healthy chunks of other characters thrown in). And the same war isn't going on for the whole series either. She's got a lot of different battles and wars that go on over the decades so that I never felt like any particular plot line went on for too long. I also find them really funny but there's also a good bit of gore (one of the main characters is called "The Blood Queen" because of her tendency to kill people). I don't know if any of that sounds like your kind of thing, but I highly recommend anything by Shelly Laurenston (her Pride series is one of my favorite things ever).
