Prompt Ten
The end of a life is an incredible loss. Some have argued that the rituals performed for the passage of the dead are for the benefit of the living, who seek to restore order in the wake of death.

Write a scene in which a funeral or memorial service takes place.

*NoteB* Who is in attendance? Who does tradtion require to attend?
*NoteB* How is the body of the deceased prepared (if relevant)?
*NoteB* Is there anyone officiating the funeral? If so, who? If not, how is the event arranged?
*NoteB* What are the trappings: the location, the clothes, the tools?
