christymahon, Whenever I reply to a post of someone who is a bit new to WDC, I use WritingML for their name. For you, I typed {huser:christymahon}. If you have clicked the box to be notified of a reply to a post, it isn't necessary to tag you but, just in case, I do. Whenever you use the WritingML version of a person's name, it will notify the person that they have been tagged. See this entry for more information: "Notifications"  There are a few different ways to link a member here: {user:ruwth} displays: ruwth   {suser:ruwth} displays: ruwth {ruser:ruwth} displays: ruwth You will find these three forms shown on this page: There are instructions there for all the various things we do here with WritingML. By the way, I did understand what you wrote about having a separate section to add an author's note. I don't think there is that much of a demand for that feature here. Hence my suggestion of how you can meet that need for you personally. You might preface it with "Note from the author:. I have seen others do something like that. I put a note at the end of a couple items in my own port. Here is one of them:
