Noticing Newbies

Hello. I am a newbie of 2 months. I am just now able to see this. I guess there is still a lot I need to learn about this site. My favorite writing site thus far.

Introduction.

Velicity Phoenix.

Woman in her 30's, Married. Mother of One. I finally decided to take my writing skills to the next level. I hope to learn a lot while I am here. I also hope that people find my writings interesting. I am a self proclaimed "artist" I am a lover of the arts. Every single part of it. Like the "Arts'' I began writing at a young age. I still have stories, either on paper, or in my head that I began at the tender age of 11 or 12. Although I am the age that I am, I am nervous when posting new things. I sometimes feel like my writing is juvenile at best. I have "reread" even my most current work, and find that I am missing something but do not know what. Anyway, I digress.



As my bio suggest, I have become a writer and fan of the "dark" nature. This is not by choice. It started out as a young child, when I had certain "dreams" and thus would inspire me to write about them. The ironic thing is, I love God. I am a proclaimed Christian. :D But I find the more I write in the "Dark" genre, the more sadistic or twisted my stories, poetry becomes.

I could go on and on about everything I like to do, or like to associate with etc, however, I feel it is better if you ask me on a personal level. XD

Thanks for reading thus far. If you do not mind, please take a gander at my last short story. It is for a contest, that I entered recently. However, as the days go by, I find it to be my favorite story thus far.

I stretched my own boundaries when writing it. A little feedback will go a long way, and be much appreciated. If not, that is fine too.
