As I said, it's a short term test to see if it's worth implementing further and spending the time to create a more usable system that would folks the option of either viewing ads or using CPU to mine. If the short term test shows it's not worth spending time implementing, then it will just go away completely. It is known that a variety of services block it the same way ads are blocked. The basic test still gives us a decent overview of what we could expect from a better implementation without the time spent on said better implementation.
