Noticing Newbies

Hello writers!

I'm a new member (obviously or why would I be posting a hello on the Newbies forum).

I've been writing on and off for a long time. Honestly, it's been more off for the last few years. For a while I was a very active writer; I was even a NaNo ML. But then life got in the way, and with work and kids and everything else adulting brings doing something purely for myself got pushed to the back. But now after a few years of not giving myself enough time for that creative outlet in really trying to get back into it.

I'm currently in the planning stages for a big ol' epic that's been brewing in my head for about a year now. I'm nowhere near the point of having something worth posting for critique, but I'm hoping that being more active in a writing community will spur me toward making the time to keep at it.
