With a free account, you can post 10 Static items of up to 50K bytes. This works for chapters at a time. You can get feedback, then delete the item and post a new one at any time. You can also edit your items at any time.

If you're interested in publishing, the important thing is to restrict access of your items so it's less likely to be considered previously e-published by a publisher (they define that themselves, individually, and definitions vary). So be sure to change the default access setting in the Advanced section of the create item page. If you don't see the access option of Registered Authors and up in the drop menu, then create the item with a Private access setting first, and go back to edit the item to change the access setting to Registered Authors and up.

An Upgraded paid membership allows the use of Book items (chapters are added as book entries, which can be reviewed individually, and generally the Book item can contain the whole novel), as well as the use of Group items (for Group-only access) and Passkeys.

As far as posting the whole thing vs by chapter, that's your choice according to the space you have available.

Novelists here have better luck with reviews by joining a review exchange group for novels.
