If you're asking about what genres to use here on the site, you can choose three, so you can label it for more than one category. Use the first drop menu for the main one.

A book can have elements of more than one genre, but in a bookstore, a book is sold and shelved under its main category.

You can find information online about the many varieties of subgenres available by googling the topic.
