Actually, I figured out how it works...

When you delete an item, the awardicon transfers to your main portfolio and becomes an awardicon there instead.

Can you check those and see if it transferred? If not, do you remember the item ID or the name of the item that had it so I can check the logs and see why it didn't move?

Awardicons are never deleted (so far as I can tell). So it either moved or it got stuck and didn't move.
