If an author is no longer a member on the site, then it is likely the item is no longer available. Granted, in the instance where paid membership lapses there is a time window when they could regain items. However, a deleted profile or other reasons for left past a certain time frame will mean their items are no longer located on the site.
Perhaps you can create your own item with similar elements, Or perhaps find others with similarities. Those are probably going to be your best options with the one in particular no longer available.
