Has the screensize changed? If greater than 100 it can "push" the option off the screen. If so, just scroll over to the right.
As I can see it on mine, any other tech suggestion is lost on me. Unless you know how to clear cookies on a shared computer. If so, you can clear the writing.com cookie.
You can also try closing the window and then opening the site again. Maybe it was a "fluke"
