Item: 2158923 The rating on my poem was changed from a 13+ to an 18+, which is incredibly inaccurate. Only a brief description was given "multiple killings exceeds 13+." The poem follows a man and his last moments with his life before they both are killed by a nuclear blast. The focus of the poem is directed towards the man's love for his wife. There is no violence, and nobody dies within the poem itself. Instead ending with the words "I love you" as the fires from the blast grow closer. There is no description of the deaths. Only referred to as "the end of our story." Additionally, the poem doesn't show anybody dying. Only people running. Any dying rests solely in the readers' head after the poem is finished and has no presence within the poem itself. The 13+ rating description explicitly states that "Horror and violence may exist at a moderate level, but not extreme." Which implies that more extreme instances would be 18+. There is no horror, nor extreme violence within this piece. Please re-review this poem and either revert the rating, or explain in further detail why this rating should remain 18+. Thank you. |
