The official Writing.Com Content Rating Support forum: questions, rating adjustments, etc. |
To explain in further detail -- Any dying rests solely in the readers' head after the poem is finished and has no presence within the poem itself. This assumption does not apply to the content rating system here. The content rating should be an honest reflection of the content. When a literary work creates an effect, the literary work is responsible for that effect and the content rating should reflect that effect. If a literary work is "about" 18+-rated content, it should be content rated 18+ -- even if every individual word in the work could be content rated E by itself. Planning to kill multiple people is content rated 18+. Implication/inference of multiple killings occurring is content rated 18+. Referencing multiple killings is content rated 18+. The topic of multiple killings starts at 18+ and goes higher when the description includes more detail and/or more graphic detail. Exploding a nuclear bomb over a still-populated area is 18+. Hope that helps. Northernwrites___ ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
