Hello there, "B.Breezy"! I am also new to this writing community ... involved for about 1 1/2 months. This site/community seems huge. I'm just beginning to grasp the tip of the iceberg. A few have recommended going through "Writing.Com 101" which I bypassed at first, but I've make it a goal to get through the introduction/tutorial this holiday weekend. I've found the "veterans" to be very welcoming and very helpful, so I assume you will benefit from their advice also! I'm a retired teacher, and I'm writing from Colorado. And you? The first items I joined in on have been the "Daily Flash Fiction Challenge" (with 2 winning submissions so far!) and just recently the "Short Shots" monthly contest. What items have you submitted/posted so far?
