Hi Robert,

I'm not sure where you're at, but Writing.Com does not allow you to put an item into a folder upon creation.

Go to "Create New Item" from the left column...
The click to create a folder.

It doesn't let you put an item into the folder upon creation.

But... I'm not sure - When you say "something", maybe you mean the standard text entry area where you can describe the folder and what it will contain? That doesn't require much -- it's as much or as little text as you want to put.
