Who does the notification?

I have just read an item that was listed as an E but the short story dealt with this new member (June, 2018) killing an animal. (little rabbit)
I thought that this was fiction but feel that it was not. I cannot tell how a person lives his/her life but since this is a new member, who tells this author about the correct content rating?
I really do not want to contact this member again.
