I have encountered a blog that is rated E, but the most recent blog entry casually comments about violence perpetrated on a child to the point of death. I emailed the user about maybe giving trigger warnings. The user emailed me an apology, but stated that they do not believe in trigger warnings. They cited that it is not a topic blog, and is basically an online diary, so what is in it is in it. I have emailed back about common courtesy for your potential readers, and explained that trigger warnings have nothing to do with censoring their writing, just letting others know that some entries might be damaging. I am awaiting a response to that email, but am not sure that it will make any difference. What should I do?
