So, true James never really thought about it. But, it does help if I does catch your reader's eye. Eye appeal, eye candy as it is called sometimes draws your reader to it. So, it is very important to choose wisely when it comes to your titles.
I read a story once and the title had nothing to do with it. That was a bummer, it did get me in to read it, but I was very disappointed afterwards. I'm like you, I'll have to start my process of choosing more wisely.
Now, that being said I'm going to hunt for your "The Crystal Heart" hopefully it is in your portfolio. It sounds like it will be really good to curl up to and read tonight.
Great question Elisa, myself, I look at the titles then a breif description helps me determine if I'm interested. If not, I go on.
