What do I do when I disagree with a rating change?
I posted a short story "A Hug for Dad, A Hug from Mom and rated it E. It has now been changed to 18+. I feel this is a disservice to what I wrote. I understand what the rating person had meant to do but I believe they chose the wrong rating.

I was upgraded due to the fact that 9/11 is alluded to and as it was explained that was a traumatic event that might bother some readers especially children. Terrorist attacks require an 18+ rating, which makes sense, but to upgrade my work over one sentence seems wrong.

I was also told it was because I used the word 'nukes'. I completely disagree with this based on the context in which it was used.

The rating of 18+ carries certain connotations which are not present in my piece. There's no violence, drugs, sex, cursing or "adult-only" subject matter.

I would like my piece to have the level of rating be reconsidered.
