Well hello there, I joined Writing.com yesterday, and quickly typed up one of my recent writings to post on here so that I had something on my portfolio. But I'm trying to read all of this information to navigate the website, and let me tell you, it's a lot. There is so much information and navigational pathways that I feel as though I'm a small child in a crowded mall with no parental guardian in sight.
Any advice would be very very much appreciated. And if you would like to look at the short quip I posted on my portfolio to try and work on realistic conversation between two friends, please tell me if I'm maybe not terrible at writing. That's why I joined, to get feedback on my writing to see if I'm any good or if I'm just writing for kicks and giggles.
I am excited, albeit a little nervous to be on this website and I hope to learn a lot. Thank you!
