Yes, I totally agree! WDC can be overwhelming when you're new. I definitely felt the same way my first few weeks here. You're doing the right thing getting an item posted in your portfolio though. Well done! Next up, is to try reviewing other people's work - it's a great way to make friends and they may just take the time to review you in return.

My advice is to take your time exploring the site and reading the help guides (especially "Writing.Com 101" ). Click on all the links, but know that not everything will be clear right away. Heck, I'm still learning new things about this site, and new additions and activities are added all the time, so there's never an end to what you can learn and participate in!
